Protect the Pope comment: This new venture from the Centre for Catholic Formation deserves wide-spread support because it meets one of Pope Benedict’s major objectives for the Year of Faith, that we all deepen our knowledge and love of the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

The 50th anniversary of the opening of Vatican II is important, but it shouldn’t overshadow the 20th anniversary of the publication of the Catechism. Pope Benedict gives more emphasis to the Catechism in his Motu Proprio Porta Fidei than the documents of Vatican II for the very reason that it is a beautiful presentation of the teachings of Vatican II in continuity with the Tradition of the Church. Go to the School of Faith and find out more. If I’m down in London on any of those days I’ll be going. Deacon Nick
